No worries Sis…I got you covered. Let’s chat about skin care and what we need to achieve and maintain healthy skin at an affordable prices.



First, let’s take it back to the basics. In order to have supple and great skin it has to be hydrated. With that being said….you have to drink water. H2O is your friend and is viable to achieving great skin.



Hydrated skin fights against aging and wrinkles so drink up because we all want maintain that youthful glow and I have to find the fountain youth on Google Maps. The fountain of youth is found in the water, so drink up!!



Now let’s move on to skin care products and a routine that’s simple. This routine is tried and true and works so there’s no need to be confused about what to you do. There is a method to the skin care routine madness so let’s dive in and talk about the products, the purpose of the products, how to layer them and the order they should be applied in order to achieve perfect skin.


Depending on your skin type, be it oily, dry or combination you can switch up the products based on your needs but you should always follow these steps:


Step 1 Cleanser – Cleanse with a gentle cleaner


Step 2 Exfoliate – removes dead skin cells to expose new and glowing skin; you can exfoliate 3-4 times a week; depending on your skin


Step 3 Toner – helps deep clean your pores; aids in returning the PH balance back to the skin after exfoliating; witch hazel is a great toner; if you have sensitive skin you can use rose water


Step 4 Serum – this is the treatment stage; apply serum to trouble areas/dark spots or all over the face


Step 5 Eye serum/eye cream - under eye treatment for dark circles and puffiness


Step 6 Moisturizer – If you use a face oil, you can apply if before or after your moisturizer


Step 7 Sunscreen - Unless your moisturizer has an SPF




Now that we’ve address the order in which these miracle products are layered on the skin, let’s talk products.
